Driving towards St Catharines from Toronto to meet up with a fellow veteran, disaster struck shortly after crossing the Burlington Bay James N Allan Skyway. Smoke and hot oil started billowing out from under the hood of my 2008 Acura TL, creating quite the spectacle for all vehicles behind me. Panic struck. Quick glance at my temperature guage to confirm yup, she’s pinned to HOT. Disgust and regret for not monitoring every 5 mins like everyone else does. My immediate reaction was to pull off onto the shoulder of the busy QEW but I’m a gambling man and my instincts told me to keep driving in hopes of making it to the nearest off-ramp, much to the disbelief of the 18-wheelers directly behind me getting showered with my car’s blood. EXIT 90. WOODWARD AVE. NIKOLA TESLA BLVD. 1KM SOUTH. TRINITY AUTOMOTIVE. A mechanical oasis! After limping on to their neighbour’s property with the transmission struggling in and out of 2nd gear, I cut the engine and most likely prevented having someone call the fire department for a car engulfed in flames. Professional diagnosis: failed transmission cooler in the radiator that caused coolant and transmission fluid to mix. A quick Google search and my odds of a successful repair were 50/50 with possible permanent internal damage and future headaches very likely. Repair costs were estimated at a couple thousand at minimum. (Car’s resale value is maybe $9000?) Plans were made to have my trusty steed towed and put down for scrap. But then a voice inside me said, “Be a man!” Mileage was approx 145,000km. I drove a relatively short distance from the Skyway to the shop. And 50/50 odds is music to the ears of any degenerate gambler. As you can presume by the 5-star review, after multiple fluid flushes, a new radiator and a week later, I got the incredible news that my car was up and running smoothly again! Now I’m not going to get anyone’s hopes up that I’m completely in the clear when it comes to future transmission issues, but so far so good…Special thanks to Adrian, Akeem, Mark, Nick and the entire crew at Trinity Automotive for making miracles happen!

Extremely disappointing experience. The customer service was poor, and the pricing was outrageous—higher than what many dealerships charge. To make matters worse, they even charged for a test drive and billed me despite no repairs or work being completed. Charging customers even when nothing is done is unacceptable and leaves the impression that the focus is on collecting fees rather than providing honest service. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business to anyone looking for fair pricing, transparency, and professional customer service.

I have used this shop for repairs on my diesel engine in the past and find them honest and transparent in all stages of repairs. You are told up front what diagnostics will cost you, you get a detailed written report with photos, then you get recommended work to be performed along with costs. You get a final report with the invoice that also may include photos. They squeezed me in on short notice and Nick took time to explain details to help me with my decision making. Mark works on service desk and gets me answers as well. They also offered me a courtesy car while work was being performed. Everyone there treated me professionally and with courtesy. I would recommend this shop for vehicle repairs.

These guys are great, brought my truck in for brakes. Got it done for me right away even tho they were busy. Lent me a car to get home since I lived close. I then had to come back for more urgent work, had to rent a viechle they told me a weeks booking wait but got my truck fixed the next day so I could save on rentals. Appreciate it fellas Avoid the low score reviews if people complain about money or time, as you can see some people are their own problem, they are unrealistic with their expectations, except free magic work done. Some people have no idea what its like running a business. Some have no idea how to communicate.

I was unable to use Eric's automotive for my heavy ram 2500..great garage but unfortunately with thier recent move they couldn't accommodate a large truck so I had to look around.. Using Google I found Trinity auto.after discussions with Nick I chose to bring my Cummings diesel 2500 ram to thier team..I explained it was sitting for months and I parked it with well over 25 engine codes..im thinking im going to be taken to cleaners but I left it with them..thier team sent me daily reports with cost and eliminated all codes with alot of diagnosis.. My experience with Trinity was at first limited to generator oil servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting. I have a class B, new RV and it was a struggle to find a location to service the generator. I have since trusted them to set up a regular generator and engine service instead of my RAM dealership. I find the service to be more personal. I am impressed with the quick turnaround, the friendly atmosphere and their professionalism and knowledge of my vehicle. Of special and important note: they don't recommend work if you don’t need it. They will explain the options and the choices are up to you. Great experience. Ask for Nick.

In my 50 years of driving, Trinity Auto is the only garage that keeps track of their service online and takes the initiative to tell me that a part was under warranty and therefore no charge to replace the part. This has happened a number of times and did again yesterday, and I’m very grateful!

Staff were great. I took my vehicle in for a few issues, one a previous shop couldn't identify. A quick ride with with a technician identified the issue and everything was dealt within a few hours. It's like driving a completely different vehicle. Very affordable as well. I will be back in the future for future repairs.

Very disappointed charging $67 to diagnose something that is already diagnosed. The issue is a cracked muffler. You just need to give me a price. Ridiculous, also something you should’ve mentioned when on the phone with the customer not just surprising them after they drive over.

I recently took my truck to Trinity Automotive for some air suspension issues and had a great experience! The communication was great, the detailed inspection report and pictures were greatly appreciated and despite the fact that the part needed was on back order, they found a good quality used part in a short amount of time and got everything fixed up for me. I would definitely recommend!

Brought my car in for an AC recharge. Was quoted 300 plus tax. When they got the car they said it required the new coolant gas which was $540 and had to be done at a different shop. All in $972. Basically a waste of my day at triple the estimated cost.

First time dealing with Trinity Automotive, have to say I appreciate the way they run this shop. I brought my truck in for a rear a/c delete as I was told the rear a/c lines were leaking by another shop who I won't mention. They determined that it was actually just a bad Schrader valve and not leaking whatsoever. There's alot to be said about this first interaction with Trinity. I am also in repair industry and this type of honesty while it may be expected is unfortunately not usually the case. I applaud your honesty, options and the follow up. It's refreshing to see! Also photos of the issue was actually the first time I've encountered that and was pleasantly blown away!

I was able to reschedule my service on short notice for 1 day later than original booked (very flexible). I had breakfast (Woodward Restaurant) within walking distance and my car was ready (reliable) when I returned. They also gave me the Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil leftover to be used on my next service (customer focus). Their new location is a further drive for me but was worth it.

Terrible experience. They took in my vehicle for a day then didn't repair anything but also broke my key to access my wheel. They then said they would replace it via text message (still have reciepts) then refused to do so after the fact. So I sent my vehicle in for a repair lost a days time from work didn't get the repair done and got my car back with a broken key and damaged tires. Thanks trinity

I have a 2017 Mustang with 315,000km on it and the water pump went last week. Normally I take my car to a repair center in Mississauga (the only shop that had touched my car previously) but did not think the water pump would make it :( Well I took my chance with Trinity Automotive (1 km from my house) and boy am I very happy I did. Quick turnaround time and the staff is super nice!

I brought my truck to Trinity Auto for an alignment, but a few days after getting it back, my wheel bearing failed. It’s unclear what might have gone wrong, but I expected more thorough inspection and care. The only issues they flagged during the visit were unrelated—a supposed need for an oil change (based solely on the sticker in my window, which was inaccurate since I had changed the oil just three weeks prior) and the condition of my wiper blades. Overall, I felt they overlooked more critical aspects of the vehicle’s maintenance, which was disappointing.

Avoid this shop for anything more than an oil change (which are much cheaper across the street) They have no consideration for customer's time. Estimates are always essential but I'd also recommend a promise of completion. Do better Trinity Auto.. do better.

It was my first time at trinity auto, and they were absolutely great. Mark, who I spoke to was excellent in communicating all the services, very patient with any questions and concerns. The invoice was very detailed explaining all the charges. They were even able to tell me any other issues with the car and broke it down in another invoice detailing all the prices. I also got a level 2 detailing of the car and IT WAS GREAT! Extremely happy with how clean the car was. I would 💯 recommend this business.

Do not come here for any RV related issues! I came here to repair my RV’s generator and the service I received was a waste of time and they failed to address the core issues with my generator. Instead, I was given unnecessary replacement recommendations that significantly inflated the cost of repair. The assessment took two hours, contrary to the standard one-hour billing practice by other service providers. Also, I was quoted about $4,000 for replacing several outdated components, despite them still functioning, without resolving the actual problem with the generator. The overall experience was not only costly but also frustrating, as it would have been cheaper to purchase a new generator. I am very disappointed with this place especially given all the other positive reviews they’ve received.

Excellent Service! Spoke to Nick on Friday, July 12th about my 2017 Ford Escape making a clunking noise. We are recently going on vacation and I was petrified to drive it on a long distance trip. I explained what was happening and he assured me that they would complete a full diagnosis of the steering/suspension system and booked me in for Monday, July 15 for 8 am. I also was provided a courtesy vehicle! Bonus! At 10:16 am I received a complete vehicle inspection report with recommendations on what needed to be done and at 10:37 am I had a quote for repairs! I approved the quote and I was notified my vehicle was ready for 2:19 pm! WOW!!! I am so impressed with Nick and Mark at Trinity Automotive! It started to stall in their parking lot but I thought the money and time spent by the mechanics would actually do something. Now my car won’t start, so thanks for that. Edit: Last time I spent more than manageable for a problem that has now erupted. I’ve been here almost 3 hours and the tow truck I have can’t tow it. He laughed at the issue present, as it doesn’t make sense. I understand not finding the problem, you still charged us for your time. I’ve spent more time out in the cold after work than you guys spent on the car. If we take it back, I need a guarantee. Now we have to wait for another truck to take it, so unless your willing to pay me the 25 per hour I make for the time lost, your empty gestures of towing my car will remain just that. Absolutely disappointed. I left a message with my number. Not cool to charge me and have me stranded a month later. Especially when I knew of this issue. Edit: The car is now in working condition. Turns out the problem with the car starting was something called; a starter. That could’ve been a good place to start.

Went to Trinity for the first time last week. My car seemed to make a new rumbling sound, and I needed it looked at asap. I went to a few garages in the area and none of them had available appointments for a few days. I walked into Trinity and Mark was just fantastic! They took my car in right away. They were kind, courteous and professional. I’m not a car guy and they took the time to explain things to me, and did not ask me to do any unnecessary work. They got the car fixed in a few hours. They seem like honest people who care about their customers. I will definitely go back to them.

I last brought my car about a year ago, meant to review and never got around to it. But here we go Giving em two stars because there is a physical building and I like how they email you the quote, but beyond that I can't speak to much else. Be really be careful bringing your car here. I brought my car here about three times and I have been having issues ever since. My check engine light literally never turns off anymore and I have replaced all the parts I am getting error codes for. My current mechanic says its due to a previous mechanic, aka trinity auto, overfilling my car with oil. "Generally, when one fills a pool, you don't fill it all the way to the very top. You fill it to a predetermined level below the very top. In your case, the pool was filled to the point it overflowed and is flooding the lobby" And ya, upon giving me that analogy he showed me all the places the oil went. Safe to say that check engine light is never turning off. Also, if you want to save money research any of the quotes they give you. I understand business is business but its expensive to live in Canada, especially the GTA, and these guys aren't necessarily helping the cause.

Brought my vehicle to Trinity Auto with with a broken strut after the very dealership vechicle was purchased from said it would be 6 to 7 weeks before they could schedule me in for a repair as it is winter tire season. The customer service was amazing and the provision of a courtesy car was an awesome benefit for us. The people at the service desk are always friendly and helpful and thorough. Communication of the diagnostic was thorough and sent through email so it was easy to see what they were recommending.

Don't be fooled by the smiles at the front desk... Chances are an apprentice is going to be working on your car doing a less than stellar job since Nick doesn't check over the work or watch his apprentices to confirm that they are doing quality work and not cutting corners. Things that Trinity automotive has done to my wife's vehicle... Install the cabin air filter backwards Left the master cylinder reservoir empty after replacing a rear caliper and parking brake not working Didn't blow any sand or leaves or debris from the intake before changing the spark plugs. I went back in and complained about this and said this was shoddy workmanship and seemed like a rush job. Nick was very defensive in the old man behind the counter laughed at me. From how they handled this this seems like perfectly acceptable work to their shop. It is not, it's far from it. A short time later a misfire started happening. Took it to another shop to diagnose the misfires. What would you know these were caused again by Trinity not doing proper work... They didn't torque the spark plug and it backed itself out of the plug hole. They didn't tighten spark plug number 1 down, spark plug came loose causing misfires and the entire tip melted off the spark plug. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. they act like you're getting great service but if you actually check the work that they do it's rushed and not up to par.

They have not even completed the work yet, and I can already say that this is one of the best shops I have been to. They talk you through every step, take pictures to send along with the quote, and give you a variety of options for your repairs based on priority and safety. My car had multiple problems (death wobble, coolant leak, o2 sensor, loose suspension, and a few other issues) and they took the time to do a full inspection (prettiest detailed report I’ve ever seen!), they worked on my modified Jeep, though another shop told me they couldn’t. Accommodated me quickly and got my car patched up and road ready again. Anyone looking for top customer service should try out Trinity Automotive. I had a last second emergency with my breaks on my truck and needed them fixed ASAP as I was heading out to a cottage trip 4 hours away the next day. I expressed the urgency in my situation and without hesitation, Nick and his crew were able to get me in. They took a look at everything, diagnosed the issue, and got it fixed the same day. To top it all off, the total price that I owed was almost $500 less than what he originally quoted. I am typically hesitant about bringing my car in to get serviced, but this was the best experience I have ever had. They made my car legitimately feel like it did when i first bought it. The details in the inspection and the professionalism of the workers, was worth every dollar spent. I live all the way in Whitby and will continue to drive all the way there to get any service i need done to my car. Timing Chain on motor was gone, running very rough. Nick was accommodating and scheduled me in quickly. I was provided with a diagnosis and estimate. I needed transportation and was provided with a courtesy car while my car was in the shop. I highly recommend Trinity Auto for your auto service needs. I was impressed with their entire team; extremely friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and honest.

Fair pricing (as a single mother, I feel confident about using them as my main garage because I know they won’t take advantage), the most polite and respectful staff, and they try their best to accommodate (I called Friday last minute in a lurch and they squeezed me right in).

I always appreciate the personable service and the care provided by the team at Trinity. They show commitment both to the quality maintenance of my vehicle and my peace of mind as a customer.

I brought my tire here to have a hole patched. My TPMS light came on a couple months later. After bringing it to a different shop it was discovered that they're mechanic put a plug THROUGH the patch. After their patch was removed it was further discovered that the plastic coating that comes on the patch to protect the adhesive on it WAS LEFT ON! To top it off, the tire pressure sensor was also found to be broken and epoxied back together. My tire (which has about 75% life left) and pressure sensor is now garbage because of Trinity Automotive's shody workmanship. I would NEVER recommend that anyone goes here for service on their vehicle

Outstanding! My Ram EcoDiesel needed a repair that only a dealer or diesel mechanic was willing to touch. I got their name from another business that only dealt with gasoline engines. Trinity squeezed me in quickly for diagnostics. They then provided formalized quotations that covered best case and worse scenarios that were sent to me electronically. Since the repair could take up to two days and the vehicle was still safe to drive, we set a date two weeks out for repairs to be handled by their best diesel guy. The repairs went smoothly and my bill came in less than quotation. One of best services they provided was progress reports describing work performed along with pictures of failed components. I was a first time customer but was treated like I had been with them forever. Thank you Nick and Mark and the rest of the Trinity team! I waited two weeks after the repair before doing this review to see if all issues had been successfully resolved. My vehicle has been great ever since. I would recommend this business to anyone because they treat you very well, their assessments and repairs are very accurate, they are very fair with cost and pass savings back to customer when things go better than expected.

I had 2 tires changed and my experience was pleasant. No surprises and friendly people.

So disappointed would give negative stars if possible! I brought my Moms truck here to get fixed. They told us the exhaust manifold needed to be replaced as well as other work. After $3000 we picked up the truck and it would not accelerate and the engine light was now on. I returned the truck to them explaining the issue and I was told by Mark that they would look at it but if it wasn’t there fault nothing would be done unless we paid more money.I was not told what they fixed, but they took it back and spent a day on it and I was simply told there was “fluid in a hose”. The vehicle drove for another couple of days and stopped working again! We had to take it to another mechanic shop where he explained that there were loose bolts on spark plugs, a stripped bolt on another, and one was siliconed on! Just a mess and poor workmanship overall. And due to the loose bolts there was a possibility of having to now replace 1 year old spark plugs!!!! Please be careful going here we were clearly taken for a ride, we will never go back or refer anyone.

Great experience dealing with Nick right from the first phone call . I was pleasantly surprised with his friendly and receptive approach to dealing with me a first time customer. Everything was was very prompt starting with the diagnosis of my problem and the process to proceed. Great paper work trail on all of our conversations and work approval. I would highly recommend this business to anyone with an RV and a Cummins gen set.

Getting vehicle maintenance @ Trinity

Only came for an oil change after the rising costs of the previous place at which I was a regular. I saw the other great reviews for this place and it was a no brainer to take my vehicle here. I could not have anticipated the attention to detail and thoroughness! They provide you with an experience where you feel valued even if you are coming in for a simple oil change. Once my vehicle was finished, I received a link that showed all of the other things they went through the trouble of checking for me. I was blown away by that level of service. That coupled with the honest and kind demeanor of the employees makes it a simple decision to return here as a regular. I've already recommended this place to other family members. All around great experience!

This was the first time we have used Trinity Auto for our RV. We needed our generator serviced . Turns out we needed a part. This company is very fast and friendly .They kept us up-to-date through the whole experience. I would use this company again. Very impressed with the service.
